How should first-time visitors spend one Hobart cruise day?

Our ship arrives in the morning and leaves in the evening; we enjoy views, walking and a mix of city and mountain scenery.

For kunanyi/Mount Wellington, check road and weather conditions on the day and arrange return transport in advance. Cloud can hide the view even when the waterfront is clear.
