How should visitors check Salamanca Market on a New Year's Day Saturday?

Keep a waterfront walk or another local activity ready if the market is closed or reduced.

Confirm trading hours and which stalls or nearby cafés will open before building the whole day around it.

Check the market organiser's current holiday calendar for the travel year rather than assuming the usual Saturday rule applies.
