How can I confirm the Zig Zag Track on kunanyi / Mount Wellington is open?

I want to hike it but have seen conflicting reports about maintenance.

Use the current Wellington Park track alerts and weather notices, then check again on the morning of the walk. Conditions on the mountain can change rapidly.
